Web Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Work as an integral member of an agile software delivery team
  • Take ownership for design and implementing compelling web user experience for our customers
  • Share and take pride in pushing exemplary high standards in design, coding, testability, and overall quality.
  • Build scalable features and services that allows us to adapt to the needs of our customers.
  • Drive the Fongo mission and support business needs by working together with the team across all departments and within our partner companies
  • Maintain and document software functionality.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related UI Development experience.
  • College Diploma or University degree in Computer Science or Engineering would be an asset
  • Previous experience with front end software development within web or mobile development platforms
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design concepts and constraints along with an understanding of TDD and Continuous delivery
  • Object Oriented Development experience with the following web technologies AngularJS, Node.js, PHP (Laravel), Perl, MySQL, JSON, SOAP, XML, HTML
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and designs would be an asset.
  • Previous experience or understanding of WordPress and SIP Protocols would be an asset but not mandatory
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate productively with other team members.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design concepts and constraints would be valuable
  • Appreciation for and execution of good design is desired

Sales Representative

As the Sales Representative you will be responsible for supporting and growing our customer base.  Acting as the point of contact, you will take full responsibility for maintaining open communication with customers and will also be responsible for the overall nurturing and monitoring of our relationships. You will work together with a highly motivated and agile team to seize opportunities, develop marketing initiatives, monitor their performance and optimize the sales strategy in order to increase the customer base.  Your experience with sales and marketing coupled with your excellent communication skills what set you apart.

What you will do:

  • Prospect new business through a variety of methods (industry publications, events, advanced Internet research skills, marketing campaigns)
  • Gains and expands our customer base through consistent and effective outreach
  • Manage incoming and outgoing sales correspondence with customers including; calls, emails, quotes, and other inquiries.
  • Identifies key stakeholders in decision-making process
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers
  • Educates customer of product features, pricing, services, availability, and product differentiation
  • Performs effective online or in-person demonstrations
  • Develops, maintains and utilizes a sales development plan
  • Consistently achieves and exceeds revenue quotas
  • Provides accurate revenue forecasts on a periodic basis
  • Maintains a robust and up-to-date pipeline
  • Prepare proposals and quotes for clients
  • Act as the customer ambassador and relay pertinent information to the internal team, working together to provide timely solutions
  • Maintain contact with customers and serve as an escalation point for issues that impact their success
  • Drive the Fongo mission and support business needs by working together with the team across all departments

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of One year of experience in a sales or marketing role
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing techniques for generating awareness and new business
  • Demonstrated experience with account management from needs analysis to follow up and closing deals
  • You should be a people person who enjoys working with others and builds strong relationships
  • Passion for sales and marketing that translates into an exceptional customer experience
  • Proven ability to gather and understand client needs and requirements
  • Ability to create and analyze sales reports
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with exceptional listening skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have a completed post-secondary education
