Forward to Cellphone FREE

Any call that comes to your extension can be forwarded to your cell phone number (or any phone number you input). This forwarding can act as a backup for when you miss the call on your Fongo Works app or desk phone, or it can be the primary way calls come to your extension, it’s your choice.

Input any phone number into the “Cellphone number” field in your member’s settings. This is the phone number that will be called based on your call handling setting (see below for call handling explanation).

Note: This number does not need to be a cellular number. The system will call any active, Canadian phone number.

Call Handling

Explained

Any calls routed to an extension will always ring the mobile app and/or desk phone first (if enabled). If there is no app or desk phone enabled for the extension, your call handling setting will happen immediately.

The following call handling settings are for what happens after the call is unanswered on the mobile app or desk phone.

Go To Voicemail

Calls to your extension will go directly to your Fongo Works voicemail.

Forward To Cell Phone

Calls will forward to any number you input in the member’s “cell phone number” field.

After ringing, the call will either get picked up by the cell phone’s voicemail, or the call will simply end (depending on the ring count settings of the cellphone number).

Calls will forward to any number you input in the member’s “cell phone number” field.

If unanswered, the call will then go to the Fongo Works voicemail of that member.
