Fongo Phone Plan SIM packages are available for pickup at your local campus.

We recommend giving them a call first to ensure they have SIMs in stock before making the trip to campus.

All campus locations and phone numbers can be found on this page.

  • Your device must be unlocked

Please make sure that your device is not carrier locked to another mobile carrier (Bell, Telus, Freedom etc). If it is locked please contact your current carrier to request that they unlock the device.

(Please note that all devices sold in Canada after December 1, 2017 should be unlocked)

  • Your device must fit a Nano SIM card
  • Your device must be connected to the internet using Wi-Fi or Data (3G, 4G, LTE)
  • Your device must have a microphone, a touchscreen, and location support
  • Software we currently support:
    • iOS 10.0+
    • Android OS 4.2+ (Jelly Bean)
    • BlackBerry OS 10.2.1+
  • You will need to purchase World Credits from within your Fongo Mobile app (in add-ons)
  • The Fongo Mobile app is only available in Canadian app stores
  • You may be able to access Canadian app stores by implementing a VPN on your device, but you will need to research how to do this for your particular device
  • Your data will shut off for the remainder of your billing cycle
  • You can enter your account here and purchase a top-up of 1GB to keep you connected until your billing cycle renews
