Company Growing Rapidly to Meet Customer Demand for Free Calling and Texting Across the Country

WATERLOO, ONTARIO, February 21, 2013 –

Fongo Inc., Canada’s fastest growing mobile telecommunications company, today announced the expansion of its service area to 32 new cities across Ontario.

“We’ve powered over 500 million minutes of free calling for Canadians and this expansion is part of our goal to extend Fongo to every corner of the country,” said Dave Bullock, president of Fongo Inc. “People in Peterborough, Owen Sound, and 30 other cities can now get a free local number in their city and talk freely from coast-to-coast.”

“Canadians pay some of the highest prices for mobile phone service in the industrialized world,” said OpenMedia.ca Executive Director Steve Anderson. “Innovative new cell phone market entrants are important to the Canadian telecommunications industry — providing Canadians with more choice and keeping mobile phone service prices in check.”

Fongo also offers Canadian consumers a home phone solution through its Fongo Home Phone service.
